About Jason

For several years after graduating from high school, Jason Hunsperger worked for a wholesale electronic components distributor while taking part-time classes at the local university.  His goal at the time was to obtain a B.S. in electrical engineering.  He eventually began working for a semiconductor manufacturer, all the while still trying to attend classes.  Eventually, his struggle with seemingly endless math requirements drove Jason’s decision to switch his major.  His interest in still photography (the old kind – with that stuff called “film”) led him to the communications department.

Less than 2 years later, he changed his career trajectory, leaving the semiconductor industry to take a job with a local television station.  Not long after that, in 2003, Jason started The Imagery Lab, a corporate video production company.

One evening Jason bumped into Stacey Cunningham at a business networking event.  They had worked together at the same company years earlier, and Stacey had just started his own business – Gasket Seal.  Since then, Jason and Stacey have been having discussions about their respective businesses, helping each other solve problems, and just generally acting as informal coaches for one another.

In the fall of 2019, Jason approached Stacey about the possibility of recording their discussions and turning them into podcasts.  Stacey agreed, and the Life In Business Podcast was born.

Jason enjoys alpine skiing in the winter, tennis in the warmer months, and ranting about manhole covers, personalized license plates, and yard work year-round.
